Job summary

Centria Autism in Oregon City is seeking enthusiastic Behavior Technicians to work one-on-one with children who have autism, implementing individualized intervention plans under a BCBA.

You will use evidence-based techniques to teach communication, social and daily living skills, with comprehensive training provided. The role requires physical stamina to assist children up to 50 pounds; pay range $19-$24.

Qualifications

• Passionate about helping children with autism.
• Patient, compassionate, and able to work well in a team.
• 18+ years of age.
• High school diploma or GED.
• Ability to obtain CPR, First Aid Certification and TB test.
• Pass a pre-employment background check.
• Move in various positions (sit, squat, bend).
• Lift and carry up to 50 pounds.
• Obtain an RBT certification after onboarding.

Responsibilities

• Sitting down and standing up from the floor or chair.
• Occasional lifting up to 50 lbs.
• Running or moving quickly to interact with and for client safety.
