Job summary

Devereux Advanced Behavioral Health — League City, TX is seeking a Part-Time Behavior Support Specialist. Shifts include 3PM-11PM and 7AM-3PM to support individuals with autism and intellectual/developmental disabilities in a residential setting.

You'll work with a multidisciplinary team to implement individualized treatment plans, manage challenging behaviors, and promote progress in daily living, communication, and social skills, while upholding safety and compassionate care.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Bachelor or higher degree preferred.
• Valid driver license required.

Responsibilities

• Provide therapeutic support to individuals with behavioral issues.
• Assist children in overcoming learning, problem-solving, impulse control, and social skills challenges.
• Assist with daily living activities and safety; manage challenging behaviors including aggression.
