At the Carmen B. Pingree Autism Center of Learning, Autism Aides help create a supportive, structured, and engaging environment where children with autism can learn, grow, and build confidence. This role is about more than classroom support — it’s about building positive relationships, encouraging communication and independence, and helping children practice skills that support success at school, home, and in the community. Autism Aides work closely with interdisciplinary teams to provide compassionate, individualized support while celebrating each child’s unique strengths and progress. Range starts at $16.50/hour (pay is calculated based on years of related experience)
