Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree and minimum of 10 years of relevant experience in advocacy, government relations, public policy, or a closely related field.
  • Strong analytical and strategic thinking skills to translate policy issues into advocacy strategies.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to engage diverse stakeholders.
  • Ability to work independently and in fast-paced environments.
  • Willingness to travel to represent LEARN in key markets and forums.
  • Experience in Medicaid policy is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement advocacy initiatives in key markets alongside internal stakeholders, focusing on Medicaid programs.
  • Liaise with local leadership to weave advocacy priorities into broader business strategy and objectives.
  • Track and report on legislation and regulations impacting access to care.
  • Build and sustain relationships with legislators, regulators, payors, and industry partners.
  • Represent LEARN at forums, conferences, and events as a credible field voice.
  • Keep executive management informed on developments that could impact the organization.
  • Partner with Payor relations and RCM on reimbursement related issues.
  • Collaborate with key industry groups.
