Job summary

Heartland-Aba-1 in Topeka, Kansas, seeks part-time ABA aides to provide one-on-one services in clients' homes or community locations, supporting independence and positive behavior with evidence-based interventions.

No prior ABA experience is required; paid training is provided. A 40-hour Registered Behavior Technician course is required, with a six-month commitment and afternoon/evening hours offering growth within our clinical team.

Qualifications

• Willingness to learn and make a difference for children with Autism.
• Patience, compassion, and ability to stay calm in challenging situations.
• Experience in Education or related fields is a plus but not required.

Responsibilities

• Provide one-on-one ABA services to clients, using evidence-based interventions.
• Serve as an integral member of our clinical team, implementing skill-building and care plans.
• Record session data accurately using electronic devices.
• Foster a positive learning environment for clients and connect with families.
• Collaborate with families and BCBA Supervisor(s) to enhance treatment effectiveness.
