Job summary

SpringHealth Behavioral Health & Integrated Care of North Carolina is seeking Licensed Psychologists (LPs), LPAs, and school psychologists eligible for LPA licensure to lead ABA treatment for children with autism in a clinically oriented role.

You will collaborate with 1:1 therapists, caregivers, and a multidisciplinary team to design effective treatment plans, reduce challenging behaviors, and build meaningful skills while ensuring ethical and regulatory compliance.

Qualifications

• Must be licensed psychologist or eligible for LPA licensure in North Carolina.
• Ability to interpret highly technical information and write materials, and speak persuasively to implement actions.
• Knowledge of CPT codes, payor rules, policies, and evidence-based treatment modalities.
• Must have reliable transportation.
• Ability to perform physical tasks as outlined (standing, lifting, bending, etc.).

Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive assessments of children with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD).
• Develop individualized Behavior Intervention Plans (BIPs) based on assessments and collaborate with teams.
• Design and implement ABA interventions tailored to each client’s needs.
• Continuously monitor and adjust treatment plans to reflect progress.
• Apply ABA techniques to improve social, communication, and daily living skills.
• Collect and analyze data to evaluate intervention effectiveness.
• Maintain detailed records and prepare progress reports.
• Educate and support parents and caregivers in ASD strategies at home.
• Supervise and mentor RBTs and direct support staff with training and feedback.
• Ensure interventions adhere to ethical guidelines and regulatory requirements, and stay current with field developments.
