Job summary

Bloomberg is seeking a Technical Product Manager for Authorization Tooling in the CTO Office, based in New York. You will own the home-grown authorization tooling, partner with engineering to keep it state of the art, and shape strategy for enterprise-wide access controls.

You will balance build vs. buy decisions, define roadmaps, OKRs, and ensure security objectives align with business needs across Bloomberg's complex infrastructure.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of security experience in large-scale distributed systems.
• Deep knowledge of authorization models and access control.

Responsibilities

• Partner with engineering to keep home-grown authorization tooling state of the art.
• Evaluate build, buy, and reuse trade-offs for authorization tooling.
• Collaborate with stakeholders across engineering, product, and business to anticipate needs.
• Own prioritization of development efforts, balancing security, usability, and scalability.
• Lead roadmaps, metrics, and OKRs with measurable impact.
• Define and track metrics for health, performance, and state of authorization tooling.
• Contribute to the overall strategy and translate direction into concrete priorities.
