Bloomberg is seeking a Technical Product Manager to redefine the Terminal application's SDLC tooling, workflows, and integrations in New York. You will own the end-to-end developer experience across the software lifecycle, guiding internal tooling roadmaps and enabling AI-enabled development across engineering teams.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of experience in technical product management or a senior engineering role.
• Experience building or owning developer tools, internal platforms, or SDLC systems with engineers as users.
• Proven ability to create product visions and roadmaps, evaluate trade-offs, and manage releases.
• Ability to coordinate across teams to break down complex engineering problems into milestones.
• Deep understanding of software development lifecycle best practices.

Responsibilities

• Define the next-generation Terminal application SDLC tooling strategy, setting principles for automation, consistency, and AI-assisted development.
• Shape standards, workflows, and tooling to improve developer velocity, software quality, and operational reliability across the Terminal ecosystem.
• Build strong relationships with stakeholders, providing transparency into roadmaps, dependencies, and prioritization decisions.
• Advocate for and project manage broad adoption of SDLC tooling across engineering teams; measure adoption and impact.
• Own intake, evaluation, and prioritization of new tooling and workflow requests from engineering teams.
• Balance competing needs – developer experience, platform reliability, security, and modernization – to prioritize the backlog.
• Review and prioritize updates to technical documentation, onboarding materials, and training resources.
