Behavior Frontiers is seeking an Authorization Coordinator in El Segundo, CA to bridge families with funding sources and clinical teams. You will ensure timely, accurate authorization records, align with payer requirements, and help protect continuity of care while supporting revenue cycle goals.

The role emphasizes clear communication with families, meticulous documentation, and collaboration across Billing, Intake, Scheduling and Clinical teams in a fast-paced healthcare environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Strong verbal and written communication with client service mindset.
• Experience maintaining confidentiality and PHI.
• Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced healthcare setting.
• Bilingual in Spanish is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Serve as a point of contact for families balancing authorization requirements and funding transitions.
• Submit required documents to funding sources accurately and timely.
• Review authorization records for accuracy and alignment with payor rules.
• Collaborate with Billing and Revenue Cycle to address gaps and prevent denials.
• Coordinate with Clinical, Scheduling, Intake, and Billing teams to protect continuity of care.
