Golden Bear Physical Therapy, a member of Therapy Partners Group, is seeking a full-time Authorization Coordinator for the Modesto location. The role focuses on managing authorizations, submitting to payors, and maintaining accurate documentation.
Ideal candidates will be organized, able to handle multiple priorities, and proficient with Microsoft Office. Prior medical authorization experience is preferred but not required, with attention to HIPAA compliance throughout daily tasks.
Starting Hourly: $18.00 per hour (must be open to this starting pay rate)

Education & Experience: High school diploma. Experience in medical office & with medical authorization processes/insurances preferred but not required.
Requires prolonged sitting, some walking, bending, stooping, reaching, and stretching. Requires hand-eye coordination and manual dexterity sufficient to operate a keyboard, mouse, photocopier, telephone, calculator, and other equipment. Requires normal range of hearing and eyesight to record, prepare and present reports.
