Qualifications

• Recent Junior Military Officer (JMO) experience with leadership of teams or programs.
• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, technical discipline, operations, supply chain, business, or related field.
• Experience leading cross-functional execution under constraints and prioritization.
• Ability to build credibility with technical, operations and frontline teams.
• Strong communication, business judgment, ownership mindset and disciplined execution.
• Ability to work full-time onsite in Austin Operations.

Responsibilities

• Lead and execute operations-focused projects with clear deliverables and milestones.
• Collaborate with manufacturing, production control, demand management, quality, engineering, and supply chain.
• Apply military leadership to drive accountability in a matrixed environment.
• Identify cost, quality, delivery, safety, and productivity improvements.
• Acquire Applied Materials manufacturing knowledge and cross-functional decision dynamics.
• Communicate progress, risks, and recommendations to operations leaders.
• Prepare for final placement into an Austin Operations role in 6–9 months.
