Job summary

Hsuoffice is seeking an experienced Project Architect/Designer to join our Austin office. This exciting hybrid position is ideal for an individual who is ready to take ownership of significant portions of projects while developing technical, design, and project leadership skills.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in architectural design and documentation, along with a passion for both the creative and technical aspects of project delivery. Responsibilities include contributing to design and delivery, preparing documentation, and coordinating with project teams.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of professional experience in architecture, including design and construction document production.
• Ability to commute to Austin office a minimum of three days per week.
• Demonstrated design ability and a strong portfolio of academic and professional work.

Responsibilities

• Contribute to the design and delivery of projects across scales and typologies.
• Develop design concepts and translate them into coordinated drawings.
• Prepare project documentation, specifications, and presentation materials.
• Coordinate with consultants and internal team members.
• Support construction administration efforts.
• Take ownership of assigned project portions.
• Participate in technical problem-solving and design discussions.
• Manage multiple priorities across various projects.
