Job summary

Mee Derby & Company seeks an accomplished Managing Director / VP of Technology to lead and grow its Austin-based Technical Services division. This executive will oversee both sales and recruiting, driving growth, and establishing scalable processes.

The role focuses on coaching teams, building client relationships, shaping strategy, and developing future leaders, with a strong emphasis on regional expansion and executive engagement in Austin.

Qualifications

• Technology staffing leadership experience strongly preferred.
• Demonstrated success growing staffing revenue through sales leadership.
• Experience hiring, coaching, and developing staffing professionals.
• Strong client development and executive relationship management skills.
• Excellent communication and organizational leadership abilities.
• Staffing industry leadership experience required.
• Technology staffing experience strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead, coach, and develop the Austin Technology sales and recruiting organization.
• Drive accountability through KPIs, forecasting, production standards, and operating cadence.
• Build a high-performance culture focused on growth, collaboration, and execution.
• Support strategic business development and executive-level client relationships during the organization's continued expansion.
• Partner closely with recruiting leadership to maximize delivery quality and client satisfaction.
• Expand relationships with CIOs, CTOs, IT executives, and procurement leaders throughout the Austin market.
• Participate as a member of the executive leadership team, helping shape business strategy and future investments.
• Build the infrastructure, processes, and leadership bench necessary to support continued regional expansion.

Education

Bachelor's degree preferred but not required
