Under general supervision, this position performs complex, skilled work in the construction, installation, repair, maintenance, and remodeling of Austin-Bergstrom International Airport (AUS) facilities.
Position Overview: Performs all phases of construction, maintenance, and repair projects requiring complex work in carpentry, roofing, cabinetry, framing, and painting. Trains others in executing repair and construction projects. Performs basic plumbing and Carpentry installations and repairs. A ssists in coordinating activities and ensuring availability of personnel, material, and equipment necessary to complete assigned construction projects. Performs various technical tasks relative to assigned areas of responsibility. Provides input to management concerning time, workforce, equipment, and materials necessary perform AUS maintenance assignment and projects. Follows blueprints, specifications, and building codes to ensure assigned construction requests meet specifications and codes. Completes data entry for work-related functions in the Computer Maintenance Management System (CMMS)

This position must travel between various locations as part of the regular job duties and the individual will be required to drive a City vehicle. Position will also be required to drive on the AOA.
