AtWork Group is seeking an Auger Feed Operator for our Huntsville, AL facility. The role focuses on feeding materials into an auger system, monitoring equipment, and ensuring a continuous production flow in a fast-paced environment.

The ideal candidate has manufacturing experience, a safety-focused mindset, and the ability to work both independently and with a team. This is a full-time, first-shift position with weekly pay and potential for growth within the company.

Qualifications

• Previous manufacturing or production experience.
• Experience operating production equipment is a plus.
• Mechanical aptitude and the ability to recognize equipment issues.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Responsibilities

• Feed materials into the auger system while maintaining a steady production flow.
• Monitor the auger and surrounding equipment to ensure safe and efficient operation.
• Clear minor material jams and notify maintenance of equipment issues when necessary.
• Inspect materials for quality and remove damaged or nonconforming items.
• Load, unload, and transport materials using pallet jacks or other approved equipment.
• Maintain production quotas while following quality standards.
• Keep the work area clean and free of debris to ensure a safe work environment.
• Follow all company safety policies, lockout/tagout procedures, and OSHA regulations.
• Assist with general production and warehouse duties as assigned.
• Perform routine housekeeping and support continuous improvement initiatives.

Location: Huntsville, AL Pay: $18.00 per hour (Paid Weekly) Shift: 1st Shift | Monday – Thursday, 6: 30 AM – 5: 00 PM (Overtime on Fridays as needed)

The ideal candidate is safety-conscious, dependable, and able to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

• Monitor the auger and surrounding equipment to ensure safe and efficient operation.

Physical Requirements

• Ability to stand and walk for the entire shift.
• Ability to frequently lift, carry, push, and pull up to 50 pounds.
• Ability to bend, stoop, squat, twist, and reach throughout the workday.
• Ability to work in a manufacturing environment with varying temperatures, noise, dust, and moving machinery.
• Ability to wear required personal protective equipment (PPE) at all times.
• Ability to work overtime as needed.
