The Center for Hearing Research at Boys Town National Research Hospital invites applications for an open-rank faculty position (Research Scientist I/II/III). The ideal candidate will have a Ph.D.

in a relevant field and a strong publication record, with the ability to secure extramural funding and mentor trainees through NIH programs. We welcome applicants across human auditory or vestibular science, especially those with computational modeling, signal processing, or machine learning expertise.

Qualifications

• This position requires a Ph.D. in neuroscience, psychology, engineering, or related discipline.
• Proven publication record and ability to obtain extramural funding.
• Experience mentoring pre- and postdoctoral researchers.

Responsibilities

• Execute and manage a research program in the lab with data collection and method development.
• Secure independent external funding from NIH or other agencies.
• Lead training programs and supervise graduate students and postdocs.
• Publish in refereed journals and present at conferences.
• Mentor junior scientists and coordinate staff and resources.
