Job summary

St. Joseph Hearing + Speech is seeking a Licensed Speech-Language Pathologist (LSL Provider) to join the MO Campus intervention team.

Under the MO Campus Coordinator, you will address audition, speech, and language goals for individual students within the academic calendar's 194 contract days. The role requires collaboration with educators and audiologists, maintaining confidential records, and delivering child-centered therapy in a supportive environment.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Speech Language Pathology, Deaf Education, or related field.
• Hold SLP license or teaching certificate; eligible to practice in Missouri.
• Pursue ongoing professional development; LSLS certification encouraged.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Evaluates student progress in audition, speech, and language.
• Collaborates to set annual goals and tracks monthly progress.
• Supports classroom team with duties and covers activities as needed.
• Attends team meetings and follows supervisor schedules.
• Maintains confidentiality of student records and prepares IFSP reports.
• Incorporates audition into therapy and delivers child-centered sessions.
• Mentors practicum students and volunteers; documents evaluations.
• Performs other duties including iHear teletherapy as assigned.

Education

Master’s degree in Speech Language Pathology, Deaf Education, or related field

SLP license or teaching certificate; eligible to practice in Missouri

Ongoing professional development; LSLS certification encouraged
