Job summary

Miriam Learning Center in St. Louis seeks a licensed speech-language pathologist to support children aged 2 to 18 in school settings. You will conduct comprehensive assessments of communication strengths and weaknesses and develop individualized recommendations for intervention.

You will write evaluation reports, meet with parents and school staff to discuss results, coordinate with other professionals, and ensure timely billing and payroll submission as part of the school-based team.

Qualifications

• Master's degree from an accredited program.
• Licensed to practice in Missouri.
• ASHA CCC-SLP certification.
• Experience providing speech-language evaluations and treatment in a school setting.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive assessments of each child's speech-language strengths and weaknesses.
• Write comprehensive evaluation reports with findings and recommendations.
• Meet with parents and school staff to discuss test results and implications.
• Maintain coordination with other professionals to ensure coordinated evaluations.
• Submit billing and payroll in a timely manner.
• Perform any other duties as assigned by supervisor or school staff.

Requirements

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Master's degree from an accredited school
• Licensed in the state of Missouri
• Certificate of Clinical Competence from the American Speech-Language- Hearing Association
• Experience in providing speech and language evaluations and treatment to children and/or adolescents in a school-based setting.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

1. To provide a comprehensive and professional assessment of each child's strengths and weaknesses as they relate to speech/language pathology issues.
2. To write a comprehensive evaluation report summarizing findings and making appropriate recommendations.
3. To meet with parents and/or school staff to provide feedback on test results and findings.
4. To maintain contact with other professionals to ensure coordinated evaluation efforts.
5. To submit billing and payroll in a timely manner.
6. Any other duties as specified by the supervisor and/or school staff.
