General Description:
Under direct supervision, operate and monitor auditorium systems and assist with backstage activities in support of events and productions. Ensure the safety of staff, students, participants and patrons. Properly utilize District facilities, equipment and resources. Help prevent incidents by remaining alert and enforcing all safety guidelines. Follows directions and the highest level of safe practices. Provides high quality of service and meets the expectations of performers, production staff and patrons.

Working Conditions
Works near moving mechanical parts and both high and low voltage electrical equipment. Climbs ladders, steep stairways and works on catwalks and platforms high above the floor. The noise level in the work environment is occasionally moderate to high. May be exposed to stressful situations as a result of rehearsal and performance requirements. Caution necessary to avoid harm from misuse of equipment and loud noise. The employee must be able to closely adhere to duty schedules with time constraints and interact with students, employees, and patrons.
