Job description

The Audit department is looking for a first shift Audit Team Lead. This position will oversee the daily work schedule for the team, complete and update daily reports, and ensure that pallet quality documentation is conducted on the dock.

Responsibilities:

• Coordinate activities with other distribution shifts to promote efficient workflow and communication
• Audit selected pallets with DC auditors to validate successful picks or fix any errors for a failed audit.
• Fill in for the supervisor in their absence, including scheduling of work and personnel resources
• Provide guidance, leadership, and training to distribution audit personnel
• Audit all distribution processes and resolve all inventory discrepancies with finished goods inventory
• Load material onto skids for shipment according to safety protocols
• Achieve compliance with all company policies, procedures, and safety requirements
• Ensure all equipment and material-handling equipment is in safe working order
• Maintain good housekeeping conditions and an organized workstation
• Assist with general warehouse duties as required, support other DC departments as requested during peak season
• Ability to multitask and communicate effectively with team members and other departments

Minimum Qualifications:

• Must be able to analyze and adjust workload according to the daily customer truck sheet to meet service requirements
• Ability to work independently with minimum supervision while leading others
• Previous supervisory or team leadership experience preferred
• Knowledge of distribution operations, policies, procedures, and warehouse management systems
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills with attention to detail
• Experience with Microsoft Office programs and the Oracle system
• Personal computer aptitude
• Good analytical and judgment abilities for decision-making

Schedule

• 1st Shift hours: Monday – Friday 6:30 am – 3:00 pm
