Job summary

Fairfield Inn & Suites Norfolk Airport is seeking a dependable Night Auditor to manage overnight operations, balance daily revenue, assist guests, and perform the nightly audit with accuracy. The role combines front desk responsibilities with accounting and reporting tasks in a fast-paced hospitality environment.

You will welcome guests, process check-ins/outs, and respond to inquiries while ensuring safety, professionalism, and adherence to Marriott standards. Prior hotel experience is a plus.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Welcome guests and provide exceptional service during overnight hours.
• Complete the nightly audit and balance all revenue and transactions.
• Reconcile daily front desk transactions and cashier reports.
• Prepare daily reports for management, Front Office, Housekeeping, and Sales departments.
• Perform guest check-ins and check-outs efficiently and professionally.
• Answer telephone calls, process reservations, and respond to guest inquiries.
• Handle guest concerns and complaints promptly and professionally.
• Monitor hotel safety and security throughout the overnight shift.
• Assist with VIP arrivals and ensure a seamless guest experience.
• Promote hotel services and amenities through upselling opportunities.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and professional front desk environment.
• Ensure compliance with all hotel policies, procedures, and Marriott brand standards.
• Respond appropriately to emergency situations and guest needs.
• Perform additional duties as assigned by management.

The Night Auditor plays a critical role in ensuring smooth overnight hotel operations by providing exceptional guest service while accurately completing the daily audit and financial reconciliation process.

Position Summary

• Ability to work overnight shifts, weekends, and holidays as business needs require.
