Job summary

FedEx Freight seeks an internal audit professional to execute financial, operational, compliance, and IT audits from a Memphis TN or Harrison AR location. You will lead interviews, document processes, analyze data, and communicate findings to senior management and the Audit Committee.

Responsibilities include risk assessment, control testing, and providing guidance across initiatives, with some travel required. CPA/CIA/CISA preferred; bachelor’s degree required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, information systems or a related field required.
• Two or more years of relevant experience in internal audit, public accounting, consulting, information systems, and/or data analytics.
• Strong analytical and critical thinking skills with data analytics capabilities.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• CPA, CIA, CISA or similar certification preferred.
• Experience supporting IT audits or IT risk evaluation preferred.

Responsibilities

• Complete audit and administrative assignments within established timelines.
• Conduct interviews and walkthroughs, document processes, identify key risks and controls.
• Analyze data, test controls, evaluate evidence, and document results per objectives.
• Leverage data analytics and automation to identify risk trends and expand coverage.
• Assist in preparing formal reports and presentations for senior management and Audit Committee.
• Provide internal control guidance to business partners across initiatives.
• Comply with laws/regulations and company policies.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
