Job summary

Apserou Shiaka & Co is an accounting, audit and tax advisory firm offering services to local and international clients. The role focuses on performing audit work, preparing IFRS-compliant statements, and communicating risks to management.

The ideal candidate holds an accounting/finance degree and is pursuing ACCA or willing to do so; LCCI Higher is also valued. CaseWare exposure and strong IT skills are beneficial.

Qualifications

• Degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics or a related field.
• Working towards ACCA qualification or willing to pursue it.
• LCCI Higher qualification.
• Ongoing education and staying updated.

Responsibilities

• Perform audit work for local and international clients.
• Process financial statements under IFRS.

Duties And Responsibilities

• Perform audit work for local and international clients
• Process financial statements under IFRS
• Identify areas of risk and non - compliance and communicate to the manager
• Maintain accurate and organised audit files
• Support in various administrative tasks
• Collaborate with accounting departments to obtain necessary information
• Prepare tax computations and tax returns
• Ensuring work is prepared in accordance with the firm’s policy and standards

Qualifications Required

• Degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics or a related field and / or
• Working towards ACCA qualification or is willing to do so and/or
• LCCI Higher
• Ongoing education and staying updated

Skills And Experience

• Case ware knowledge. If not, there will be training.
• Professional conduct and good IT skills
• Excellent analytical and written communication skills in both Greek and English language
• Dynamic with high levels of commitment and ability to take initiative
• Knowledge of IFRS and ISA
• Attention to detail and accuracy
