Job summary

Responsibilities

• Client audit assignments: in house prep and attendance at client premises.
• Planning of audits for review by Manager/Partner.
• Preparation of compliance tests and required paperwork.
• Undertaking tasks on client premises to agreed plan.
• Liaison with supervisor, problem solving as needed.
• Time control within budget and client liaison.
• Completion of work to Manager satisfaction.
• Accounts finalisation, file completion and tax computations.
• Support for other team members and trainees.

Job description

• You will work as part of the established Corporate team based in Norwich on a mixed portfolio of clients across a range of industries/sectors which will see you performing the accurate and efficient processing of client accounting information.
• This will be supervised to begin but that will become more remote as your experience grows.
• The role demands the ability to speak to colleagues, clients and other contacts in a mature and professional manner whilst ensuring to maintain professional standards.

Your responsablities will be but will not be limited to:

• Client audit assignments: in house preparation and attendance at client premises 70% of the role30% other duties such as preparing accounts, and drafting tax computations
• Planning of audits for review by Manager/Partner
• Preparation of compliance tests, required paperwork prior to assignment
• Undertaking assigned tasks on client premises to agreed plan
• Regular liaison with office or onsite based supervisor whilst undertaking tasks including problem solving
• Control of own assignment time within pre-determined budget
• Professional liaison with client and/or client’s staff
• Completion of work to the satisfaction Manager
• Accounts finalisation, file completion and tax computations
• Responsibility for other team members’ in due course, required to assist new trainees, less experienced members in the team

To be concidered for this role you will need to:

• Be ACA/ACCA Part/Fully qualified
• Have 2-3 years experience of planning and working on audits of various sizes
• Have client facing experience
• Have good interpersonal and organisational skills
