Job summary

Apserou Shiaka & Co is an accounting, audit and tax advisory firm offering services to local and international clients. The role focuses on performing audit work, preparing IFRS-compliant statements, and communicating risks to management.

The ideal candidate holds an accounting/finance degree and is pursuing ACCA or willing to do so; LCCI Higher is also valued. CaseWare exposure and strong IT skills are beneficial.

Qualifications

• Degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics or a related field.
• Working towards ACCA qualification or willing to pursue it.
• LCCI Higher qualification.
• Ongoing education and staying updated.

Responsibilities

• Perform audit work for local and international clients.
• Process financial statements under IFRS.
• Identify areas of risk and non-compliance and communicate to the manager.
• Maintain accurate and organised audit files.
• Support in various administrative tasks.
• Collaborate with accounting departments to obtain necessary information.
• Prepare tax computations and tax returns.
• Ensure work is prepared in accordance with the firm’s policy and standards.
