Job summary

Novogradac & Company LLP is seeking a Manager to lead a range of tax, audit and other engagements with minimal supervision and a focus on mentoring staff. The role emphasizes client relationships, business development, and profitability.

You will supervise Senior Accountants and Staff, conduct performance evaluations, and collaborate with Principals and Partners to identify new opportunities. Some remote or hybrid arrangements may be available based on business needs.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance; 5–8 years public accounting experience; CPA required.
• Strong understanding of accounting and tax rules.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Demonstrated intellectual curiosity and professional judgment.

Responsibilities

• Lead client engagements from planning through staffing, timing, and problem solving.
• Conduct engagement reviews and supervise staff and seniors.
• Develop and nurture client relationships; pursue new business opportunities.
• Increase office profitability by efficient time management and staff mentorship.
• Support Principals and Partners with recruitment and business development.
