citizenship and a DoD Secret clearance day one. Responsibilities include financial statement audits, internal control testing, and GAAP/GAGAS compliance using advanced Excel. Desirable qualifications include a related Bachelor's degree, CPA, and experience with SABRS/SMARTS/ADVANA/Jupiter, SharePoint, and Navy ERP.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of financial statement audits with internal control testing.
• GAAP and GAGAS knowledge demonstrated.
• Strong Excel skills: VLOOKUP, pivot tables, data visualization, macros.
• Clear communication across multiple platforms; self-motivated.
• Experience with classified/unclassified environments; DoD clearance required.

Responsibilities

• Collect, review, reconcile, and maintain audit data and evidence.
• Analyze budgets and accounting data to identify discrepancies and gaps.
• Track findings, corrective actions, milestones, and closures.
• Support internal control testing, risk assessments, and SOPs.
• Assist with year-end closeout and expenditure analysis.
• Prepare executive summaries and dashboards as needed.

The position will provide audit support for a large government customer.
Work Location: Completely on-site in Honolulu, HI.

** Basic Required Qualifications and Skills:** _ Note: These are mandatory items that all candidates must have when submitting an application to IMC for this position. • Minimum of 3 years of experience performing financial statement audits, including internal control testing.
• Experience with:
• * Historical comparative analysis of financial records.
  • Department of Defense or Department of Navy
  • Microsoft Excel, including formulas such as VLOOKUP, pivot tables, and advanced charting such as slicers, data visualization, reconciliations, Power Query, and macros
  • Employing business process improvements techniques to create efficiencies.
• Knowledge of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) and Generally Accepted Government Auditing Standards (GAGAS).
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to provide clear and concise information across multiple platforms.
• Self-motivated with the ability to stay focused, organized, and plan work independently or collaboratively in a rapidly changing environment.
• Experience supporting customers with classified and unclassified environments.
• Pursuant to a government contract, this specific position requires U.S. Citizenship.
• All applicants must have current DoD Secret clearance day one and prior to entry on duty.

** Desired Qualifications and Skills:** It is desirable that the candidate have the following qualifications:

• Bachelors degree in a related field from an accredited institution.
• Certified Public Account (CPA)
• Experience with Standard Accounting, Budgeting, and Reporting System (SABRS), SABRS Management Analysis Retrieval Tool (SMARTS), Advanced Analytics (ADVANA) or Jupiter, SharePoint, and Navy Enterprise Resource Management (NERP).

Essential Duties and Responsibilities: _ This position will include, but is not limited to, the following tasks:_

• Collect, review, reconcile, and maintain financial data, audit evidence, and support documentation.
• Analyze budget, accounting, obligation, expenditure and reporting data to identify discrepancies, trends and control gaps.
• Track audit findings, corrective actions, milestones, due dates, and closure documentation.
• Support internal control testing, risk assessments, process reviews, SOPs, reports, dashboards, briefings, and executive summaries.
• Assist with budget execution reviews, funds status reporting, obligation and expenditure analysis, unmatched transaction research, and year-end closeout activities.
• Perform other related audit support, financial analysis, documentation, and reporting duties as assigned.
• Other duties as assigned.
