Northern Trust is seeking an experienced audit professional to support risk-based audit coverage across Asset Management and Wealth Management. You will serve as a subject matter resource and participate in audits, risk assessments, and advisory engagements.

The role requires deep knowledge of internal audit standards, governance, and regulatory requirements, with strong analytical and communication skills suitable for cross-functional teams.

Qualifications

• Experience in internal audit, risk management, compliance, or financial services.
• Strong understanding of governance, risk, and controls.
• Familiarity with regulatory requirements across asset and wealth management.

Responsibilities

• Support development and execution of risk-based audit coverage across Asset Management and Wealth Management.
• Serve as subject matter resource for audits involving investment management and fiduciary services.
• Participate in audits, risk assessments, and advisory engagements from lead auditor to technical specialist.
• Provide guidance on governance processes, risk management, and internal controls.
• Analyze audit results to identify themes and areas for additional coverage.
