Farm Bureau Financial Services is seeking an Audit Services intern to participate in process walkthroughs to evaluate financial statement risks and controls. You will document walkthroughs and support staff in completing control testing, with some time-keeping duties.

The objectives of the Audit Services Department are to assist the Audit Committees, Management Team, and other managers of the companies in the effective discharge of their responsibilities. This is done by evaluating their risk management, control and governance processing, and discussing issues, risks and appropriate solutions.

As an Audit Services intern, you will participate in process walkthroughs to evaluate financial statement risks/controls. You will also have the opportunity to begin documenting walkthroughs and support staff in the completion of control testing. Other administrative functions such as time reporting may also be an expectation.
