Job summary

CLA (CliftonLarsonAllen) is seeking an Audit Senior to join the State and Local Government practice in the Mid-West Region offices. The role focuses on planning, leading, and executing assurance engagements for government clients and building strong relationships with stakeholders.

Required: Bachelor's in accounting/finance and 2 years of audit experience; SLG experience is a plus; CPA or CPA eligibility preferred. Competitive compensation with emphasis on career growth.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in accounting, Finance, or related field.
• 2 years of relevant audit experience required.
• SLG industry experience is a plus.
• CPA or eligible to sit for the CPA exam preferred

Responsibilities

• Plan, lead, and execute Assurance engagements to provide excellent client service.
• Work closely with clients and decision makers while performing a wide range of assurance procedures.
• Audit complex areas/transactions and prepare financial statements and related reports.
• Research, analyze, and report on accounting, auditing, and related issues and developments.
• Schedule, delegate, and train team members to help them build inspired careers.
• Collaborate with managers/principals to ensure effective communication and service delivery.
• Get the opportunity to work with many great clients.
• Develop and maintain effective client relationships.
