CLA is seeking an Audit Senior to join our State and Local Government practice in the Midwest. You will plan, lead, and execute assurance engagements for local, county, and state agencies, collaborating with clients and decision makers.

Ideal candidates have a bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance, at least two years of audit experience, SLG industry exposure is a plus, and CPA eligibility is preferred. CLA offers competitive wages and growth opportunities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance required.
• 2 years of relevant audit experience required.
• SLG industry experience is a plus, CPA or eligible to sit for CPA preferred.

Responsibilities

• Plan, lead, and execute Assurance engagements for local, county, and state government entities.
• Work closely with clients and decision makers while performing a wide range of assurance procedures.
• Audit complex areas/transactions and prepare financial statements and related reports.
• Research, analyze, and report on accounting, auditing, and related issues and developments.
• Schedule, delegate, and train team members to help them build inspired careers.
• Collaborate with managers/principals to ensure effective communication and service delivery.
