Job summary

CliftonLarsonAllen (CLA) seeks an Audit Senior to join our State and Local Government (SLG) practice in the Midwest region. You will plan, lead, and execute assurance engagements, collaborating with clients and decision makers to deliver high-quality service.

The role requires a bachelor’s degree in accounting or related field and 2 years of audit experience, with SLG experience a plus. CPA or eligibility is preferred as part of CLA’s growth in public sector services.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in accounting, Finance, or related field required.
• 2 years of relevant audit experience required.
• SLG industry experience is a plus. CPA or eligible to sit for the CPA exam preferred.

Responsibilities

• Plan, lead, and execute assurance engagements for state and local government clients.
• Collaborate with clients and decision makers to deliver quality service.
• Audit complex areas/transactions and prepare financial statements and reports.
• Research, analyze, and report on accounting and auditing developments.
• Schedule, delegate, and train team members to build careers.
• Coordinate with managers to ensure effective communication and service delivery.
• Develop and maintain strong client relationships.
• Work with a diverse set of CLA clients in the SLG practice.
