CLA is seeking an Audit Senior to join our State and Local Government (SLG) practice in the Midwest region. You will plan, lead, and execute assurance engagements, collaborating with clients and decision makers to deliver high-quality financial statements and reports.

The role requires a bachelor's degree in accounting or finance and at least two years of audit experience; CPA eligibility is preferred. CLA offers competitive compensation and strong career growth in a collaborative environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in accounting, Finance, or related field required.
• 2 years of relevant audit experience required.
• SLG industry experience is a plus.
• CPA or eligible to sit for the CPA exam preferred.

Responsibilities

• Plan, lead, and execute Assurance engagements to provide excellent client service.
• Working closely with clients and decision makers while performing a wide range of assurance procedures.
• Audit complex areas/transactions and prepare financial statements and related reports.
• Research, analyze, and report on accounting, auditing, and related issues and developments.
• Schedule, delegate, and train team members to help them build inspired careers.
• Collaborate with managers/principals to ensure effective communication and service delivery.
• Get the opportunity to work with many great clients.
• Develop and maintain effective client relationships.
