Job summary

Cherry Bekaert Advisory LLC is seeking an Audit Senior for our San Antonio office to lead and support audit engagements for diverse clients. You will guide engagement teams, oversee staff, and ensure high-quality financial statement work in a fast-paced environment.

The ideal candidate has 2+ years of public accounting experience, exposure to Engagement, and a CPA or eligibility to pursue licensure. A Master's degree is preferred, with multitasking and leadership abilities valued.

• CPA certification or eligibility to pursue.
• Ability to manage multiple responsibilities simultaneously (multitask).

Responsibilities

• Dialogue over engagement efficiencies and client specific risks.
• Develop audit approach to be used by the engagement teams.
• Instruct and oversee fellow A&A Staff throughout engagements.
• Broaden technical knowledge through review of complex client transactions.
• Financial statement preparation and/or review.
• Complete general audit procedures (coordination of audit closing communications, drafting of client correspondence, resolving open items).
• Research technical issues using online tools.
• Perform other duties as needed on engagements and as assigned by supervisory personnel.

As an Audit Senior, you will:

• Dialogue over engagement efficiencies and client specific risks
• You will develop audit approach to be used by the engagement teams

The salary range for this position is included below. Individual salaries within this range are determined by a variety of factors including but not limited to the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate’s work experience, education, knowledge, skills, and geographic location.
