Cherry Bekaert Advisory LLC in Nashville is seeking an Audit Senior for a hybrid role. You will guide engagement teams, develop audit approaches, supervise staff, and address complex client transactions while ensuring quality and timely financial statements.

This role requires 2+ years in public accounting, a Bachelor's in accounting, CPA eligibility, and strong leadership and multi-tasking skills to manage priorities in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• 2+ years’ experience in public accounting.
• Experience using Engagement is a plus.
• Bachelor's degree in accounting. Masters preferred.
• CPA certified or the eligibility to work toward obtaining a CPA license.

Responsibilities

• Dialogue over engagement efficiencies and client specific risks.
• Develop audit approach to be used by the engagement teams.
• Instruct and oversee fellow A&A Staff throughout engagements.
• Broaden technical knowledge through review of complex client transactions.
• Financial statement preparation and/or review.
• Complete general audit procedures (coordination of closing communications, drafting client correspondence, resolving items).
• Research technical issues using online tools.
• Perform other duties as needed on engagements and as assigned by supervisory personnel.
