Job summary

Cherry Bekaert is seeking an Audit Senior for Asset Management in our Palm Beach Gardens office. The ideal candidate will have experience with Asset Management audits in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.

This hybrid role offers opportunities to lead audit engagements, oversee staff, and develop technical skills while delivering high-quality service to clients. CPA eligibility or ongoing path is expected, with requirements including a Bachelor's in accounting and 2+ years in public

Qualifications

• 2+ years of public accounting experience.
• Experience using Engagement is a plus.
• Bachelor's degree in accounting; Masters preferred; CPA eligibility is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Dialogue over engagement efficiencies and client specific risks.
• Develop audit approach to be used by the engagement teams.
• Instruct and oversee staff throughout engagements.
• Broaden technical knowledge through review of complex client transactions.
• Financial statement preparation and/or review.
• Complete general audit procedures and client communications.
• Research technical issues using online tools.
• Perform other duties as assigned by supervisory personnel.

Help us continue in our success as an Audit Senior - Asset Management in our Palm Beach Gardens office. The successful candidate will have experience with Asset Management audits. This is a hybrid role.

Responsibilities

• Dialogue over engagement efficiencies and client specific risks
• You will develop audit approach to be used by the engagement teams
• Instruct and oversee fellow A&A Staff throughout engagements
• Broaden technical knowledge through review of complex client transactions
• Financial statement preparation and/or review
• Complete general audit procedures (i.e. coordination of audit closing communications, drafting of client correspondence, resolving open items, etc.)
• Research technical issues using online tools
• Perform other duties as needed on engagements and as assigned by supervisory personnel

Requirements

• 2+ years’ experience in public accounting
• Experience using Engagement is a plus
• Bachelor's degree in accounting.
• Masters preferred
• CPA certified or the eligibility to work toward obtaining a CPA license
• Ability to manage multiple responsibilities simultaneously (multi-task)
• Experience with Asset Management Audits

Pay Range: 86,700-114,700
