Job summary

Cherry Bekaert is seeking an Audit Senior for our Denver office to lead asset management audits in a hybrid role. You will drive engagement efficiency, establish audit approaches, and supervise staff across engagements while expanding technical knowledge through complex client transactions.

The ideal candidate brings 2+ years in public accounting, asset management audit experience, and CPA-eligible status. Bachelor's in accounting is required; a Master's is preferred.

• 2+ years in public accounting with asset management audits preferred.
• CPA eligible or working toward CPA license is required or encouraged.
• Bachelor's degree in accounting; master's degree preferred.

Responsibilities

• Discuss engagement efficiencies and client-specific risks.

Help us continue in our success as an Audit Senior - Asset Management in our Denver office. The Audit Senior will have experience with Asset Management audits. This is a hybrid role.

As an Audit Senior, you will: Dialogue over engagement efficiencies and client specific risks You will develop audit approach to be used by the engagement teams Instruct and oversee fellow A&A Staff throughout engagements Broaden technical knowledge through review of complex client transactions Financial statement preparation and/or review Complete general audit procedures (i.e. coordination of audit closing communications, drafting of client correspondence, resolving open items, etc.) Research technical issues using online tools Perform other duties as needed on engagements and as assigned by supervisory personnel

What you bring to the role:

• Most industry experience will be considered!
• 2+ years’ experience in public accounting
• Experience using Engagement is a plus
• Bachelor's degree in accounting.
• Masters preferred
• CPA certified or the eligibility to work toward obtaining a CPA license
• Ability to manage multiple responsibilities simultaneously (multi-task)
• Experience with Asset Management Audits

Pay Range: 86,700-114,700
