Job summary

Cherry Bekaert seeks an Audit Manager - Asset Management for our Denver office in a hybrid role. The Audit Manager will guide Asset Management audits, develop audit approaches, and supervise engagement teams to ensure quality results.

The ideal candidate has 5+ years in public accounting, a Bachelor's in accounting (Masters preferred), and CPA or CPA-track status, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deliver superior client service.

• Experience with Asset Management audits is a plus.
• Ability to manage multiple responsibilities simultaneously.

Responsibilities

• Dialogue over engagement efficiencies and client-specific risks.
• Develop audit approach to be used by the engagement teams.
• Instruct and oversee staff throughout engagements.
• Broaden technical knowledge through review of complex client transactions.
• Financial statement preparation and/or review.
• Complete general audit procedures (coordination of closing communications, drafting client correspondence).
• Research technical issues using online tools.
• Perform other duties as needed on engagements.

Help us continue in our success as an Audit Manager - Asset Management in our Denver office. The Audit Senior will have experience with Asset Management audits. This is a hybrid role. As an Audit Senior, you will:

• Dialogue over engagement efficiencies and client specific risks
• You will develop audit approach to be used by the engagement teams
• Instruct and oversee fellow A&A Staff throughout engagements
• Broaden technical knowledge through review of complex client transactions
• Financial statement preparation and/or review
• Complete general audit procedures (i.e. coordination of audit closing communications, drafting of client correspondence, resolving open items, etc.)
• Research technical issues using online tools
• Perform other duties as needed on engagements and as assigned by supervisory personnel

What you bring to the role
