Clark Schaefer Hackett is seeking an Audit Senior to lead not-for-profit and affordable housing engagements in Columbus, OH. You’ll manage audits from planning to completion, mentor staff, and partner with clients to deliver high-quality financial reporting while advancing your specialized expertise.

The role emphasizes client relationship building, technical proficiency in U.S. GAAP, and collaboration with managers and shareholders to drive practice growth. Hybrid work arrangement offered.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting required.
• Public accounting audit experience required.
• Strong foundation in financial statement audits, audit planning, risk assessment, and U.S. GAAP.
• Experience with Not-for-Profit organizations, Affordable Housing, LIHTC, HUD, Rural Development, or other compliance-focused environments preferred.
• CPA certification or progress toward certification preferred.
• Skills: Client relationship management, leadership, communication, project management, and sound professional judgment.

Responsibilities
