Clark Schaefer Hackett is seeking an ambitious Audit Senior to join our Not-for-Profit and Affordable Housing practice, where you will own audit engagements from planning through completion. You will build trusted relationships with clients, guide engagement teams, and collaborate with managers and shareholders to deliver top-quality financial reporting and compliance.

A background in financial statement audits for Not-for-Profit or LIHTC/HUD environments is especially valuable, and CPA

Qualifications

CPA certification or progress toward certification is valued.
Experience in Not-for-Profit and Affordable Housing sectors is valuable.
Strong leadership, communication, and client-management skills.
Background in financial statement audits and GAAP knowledge is advantageous.

Responsibilities

Serve as the quarterback on audit engagements, guiding projects from planning through completion.
Build trusted relationships with clients and be a go-to resource for their business and financial reporting needs.
Lead, coach, and develop staff while building high-performing engagement teams.
Navigate complex audit and compliance matters within Not-for-Profit and Affordable Housing sectors.
Balance multiple engagements, priorities, and deadlines while delivering an exceptional client experience.
Collaborate with Managers, Senior Managers, and Shareholders, gaining exposure to leadership and strategy.
