CyberCoders in the Greater Cincinnati area is seeking an Audit Senior to run engagements, lead client relationships, and mentor rising staff in a modern, flexible CPA firm.

You will plan and execute GAAP audits, advise on internal controls, manage budgets and timelines, and contribute to a culture that supports career growth and work-life balance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance; Master's is a plus.
• Active CPA license highly preferred or CPA candidate pursuing certification.
• 3+ years of progressive public accounting audit experience (Audit Senior level preferred).
• Strong GAAP knowledge, project management, and clear communication.

Responsibilities

• Lead engagements: plan, execute, and deliver audits, reviews, and compilations under GAAP.
• Advise clients: be the primary contact for stakeholders, addressing issues and controls.
• Mentor talent: supervise and coach audit staff and provide feedback.
• Drive quality: draft statements, perform research, and ensure quality across workpapers.

What You'll Do

• Lead Engagements: Plan, execute, and deliver end-to-end financial statement audits, reviews, and compilations in compliance with GAAP.




• Advise Clients: Serve as a primary contact for key client stakeholders-resolving complex technical issues, evaluating internal controls, and recommending strategic improvements.




• Mentor Talent: Supervise, train, and review the work of audit associates, providing real-time coaching and constructive feedback.




• Drive Quality: Draft financial statements, complete technical research, and maintain high standards across workpapers and management letters.




• Support Growth: Assist with engagement budgeting, timeline management, and new business proposal development.

What You Bring

• Experience: 3+ years of progressive public accounting audit experience (Audit Senior level preferred).




• Credentials: Active CPA license highly preferred (or CPA candidate actively pursuing certification).




• Education: Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance; Master's is a plus.




• Skills: Strong foundation in GAAP and auditing standards, exceptional project management skills, and clear communication abilities.




• Tech-Savvy: Advanced Excel skills and familiarity with modern audit workflow software; data analytics experience is a bonus.
