Qualifications

• Must have experience leading internal audit engagements with moderate/high complexity.
• Strong ability to assess risks and develop control testing plans.
• Experience in insurance industry or risk management/audit principles.
• Proven problem-solving and root-cause analysis skills.
• Effective written and verbal communication and leadership capabilities.

Responsibilities

• Proactively identifies and analyzes risks to the organization.
• Partners with second lines of defense to identify risk from internal and external sources.
• Completes internal audit's risk assessment to document risks and controls.
• Creates test plans and complex audit programs to assess the design and operating effectiveness of key controls.
• Conducts test procedures as outlined in detailed audit program.
