Job summary

Guidehouse is seeking a seasoned professional in the United States (Washington) to provide audit support and remediation focused on internal controls over financial reporting and management assertions. You will evaluate controls, conduct risk assessments, and support federal engagements.

Responsibilities include developing corrective action plans, supporting management control programs, and presenting insights to stakeholders.

Qualifications

• Must obtain and maintain a Federal or DoD Public Trust prior to onboarding.
• Bachelor's degree in business, finance, accounting or related field from an accredited college or university.
• Minimum 7 years of experience with project management and/or executive level support with federal customers/agencies.
• Knowledge of federal financial management activities and related regulations.
• Up to 2–3 days on-site at the client office; US Citizenship is required.

Responsibilities

• Provide audit support and remediation activities focusing on internal controls over financial reporting.
• Evaluate/testing business process internal controls and perform financial statement audits.
• Support management control programs and risk assessments.
• Develop integrated master plans, schedules and risk mitigation for projects; update stakeholders.
• Prepare presentations, gather feedback and communicate insights; develop metrics and dashboards.
