Job summary

Guidehouse is seeking a Senior Consultant to support a homeland security agency through internal controls and financial management programs. You will engage with client management, perform risk assessments, and help ensure compliance with federal directives while supporting audit readiness and process improvements.

The role emphasizes collaboration with senior leaders, development of policy and procedures, and contributing to client service, business development, and staff coaching.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required.
• Six years of experience in financial management, accounting, internal controls, audit or related field.
• Knowledge of and experience with OMB Circular A-123 and federal financial management practices.

Responsibilities

• Assist government clients in evaluating internal controls and ICOFR, and in auditing processes.
• Support development and maintenance of digital audit tools.
• Conduct risk assessments and assist in remediation of control deficiencies.
