The ideal candidate holds a CPA, a Bachelor's (or higher) in accounting, and several years of supervisory experience, with willingness to travel as needed.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting or related field.
• 5 years of experience in public accounting or related field.
• 3 years supervisory experience.
• Must have active CPA or equivalent certification.
• Ability to travel based on client and business needs.
• Proficient use of applicable technology and accounting software.

Responsibilities

• Serve as client’s trusted advisor and proactively communicate solutions.
• Manage staff on engagement deliverables and ensure quality control.
• Demonstrate proficient technical skills for client responsibilities.
• Understand client organizations, procedures and policies.
• Participate in new client development and proposals.
• Manage and retain multiple client relationships and projects.
• Develop overall engagement budget and monitor hours.
• Oversee billing and realization on assigned clients.
• Supervise, train and mentor staff; foster teamwork.
• Participate in practice development activities to generate new business.
• Additional responsibilities as assigned.
