What your day looks like:

  • Research and facilitate resolutions on complex audit and accounting issues.
  • Create templates and resources to support the firm’s audit methodology, including standardization and implementation of new standards.
  • Communicate between audit teams and audit leadership to ensure firm and engagement objectives are met by all parties.
  • Oversee firm objectives and professional practices projects, and manage firm resources to ensure that established goals are met.
  • Participate in the quality monitoring process, including supporting both internal and external inspections.
  • Assist in the process of integrating acquired firms into the firm’s audit processes and methodology.
  • Provide guidance and experience to other audit teams to ensure that engagement risks are identified, appropriate responses (including specific audit steps) are taken, and that firm policies are adhered to.
  • Begin to develop one or more areas of technical specialization, and begin to serve as a technical consultant, both internally and externally.
  • Develop outside relationships (professional, personal, etc.) with a goal to foster long-term business development opportunities.

  • Excellent project management, analytical, interpersonal, oral and written communication skills.
  • Deep understanding of both audit and accounting standards.
  • 5+ years’ experience in public accounting.
  • Bachelor's degree in accounting.
  • Must be CPA certified and have an active CPA license.
