CyberCoders, Inc. in Parsippany, NJ is seeking a senior audit leader to manage private-company audits and guide business owners on financial reporting and controls. You will own relationships and drive quality across engagements.

You’ll lead planning through issuance, mentor staff, and contribute to practice development, with a clear path toward partnership within a close-knit regional firm near the Greater NYC area.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of progressive public accounting experience focused on financial statement audits for private companies.
• Active CPA license required.
• Experience managing full-cycle audit engagements and leading staff teams.
• Deep knowledge of US GAAP and GAAS for private-company reporting.
• Ability to work on-site in Parsippany, NJ.

Responsibilities

• Lead multiple concurrent audit engagements from planning through issuance.
• Serve as primary relationship owner for clients, advising on financial reporting and internal controls.
• Review and sign off on audit workpapers, financial statements, and disclosure notes.
• Coach, mentor, and deliver timely performance feedback to audit seniors and associates.
• Manage engagement economics end-to-end: budgeting, scheduling, billing, and resource allocation.
• Identify internal control weaknesses and operational improvements for clients and communicate findings to executive leadership.
• Collaborate with firm partners on practice development, client retention, and identifying service expansion opportunities.
