The role emphasizes leadership, on-site collaboration, and a clear path to promotion within a boutique CPA environment. Salary ranges from $85,000 to $110,000 with comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• 3 to 5 years of public accounting audit experience (recent and continuous).
• Solid working knowledge of US GAAP, GAAS, and private-company financial reporting.
• Demonstrated experience leading audit engagements and supervising junior staff.
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• Ability to work fully on-site, five days a week, at our Orange County office.

Responsabilités

• Own private-company audit engagements from planning through final issuance.
• Design and execute audit procedures in US GAAP and GAAS with thorough documentation.
• Review and sign off on staff accountant workpapers and provide feedback.
• Build consultative relationships with client management to add value beyond numbers.
• Collaborate with firm leadership on engagement planning, staffing, and efficiency.
• Prepare clear financial reports and disclosures for private middle-market clients.
• Identify technical issues early and escalate with a proposed solution.
