Senior Associate – Audit / AssuranceArmanino is a partner‑owned CPA firm that offers a collaborative environment for professional growth. This role is designed for an individual who wants to develop advanced audit skills while leading a small team of staff members.

Responsibilities

• Supervise, plan, and perform audits, reviews, and compilations on client engagements.
• Lead a team of up to five staff members under the direction of a Manager and/or Partner.
• Prepare basic and moderately complex workpapers, exhibit strong analytical skills, and exercise professional skepticism.
• Analyze financial statement data, draw logical conclusions, and identify potential points for improvement.
• Research and analyze pertinent client, industry, and technical matters; identify, assess, and document controls and weaknesses in client accounting systems.
• Provide timely, constructive feedback on staff workpapers and maintain effective communication with engagement team and client personnel.
• Update Managers and/or Partners on job status and assurance issues in a timely manner.
• Develop an understanding of client businesses and apply relevant accounting standards and regulatory rules.
• Ensure compliance with the firm’s quality control policy and applicable GAAP/GAAS.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or Master’s degree in Accounting, Finance or a related field.
• Minimum 2 years of public‑accounting experience in audit or assurance.
• Experience supervising audit staff professionals.
• Demonstrated understanding of U.S. Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) and Generally Accepted Auditing Standards (GAAS).
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and Adobe Acrobat Engagement platform.

Preferred Qualifications

• Active CPA license.

Compensation & Benefits

• Base salary range: $76,900 – $104,700 (may vary based on skills, role, and location).
