Kernutt Stokes LLP in Eugene, Oregon is seeking an experienced audit and assurance professional to lead multiple engagements from start to finish. You will oversee client deliverables, budgets, and schedules while developing lasting client relationships and pursuing new business opportunities.

The ideal candidate has a CPA license, 6+ years of CPA firm audit experience, and strong GAAP/GAAS knowledge. Flexible work-from-home options and a collaborative team environment are offered.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or related field.
• CPA license is required.
• Six+ years of current audit/assurance experience at a CPA firm.
• Strong GAAP/GAAS/OCBOA knowledge to supervise staff.

Responsibilities

• Manage multiple engagements end-to-end with defined objectives and budgets.
• Be fully responsible for client deliverables and timelines.
• Develop and maintain client relationships and pursue new business.
• Review staff work and provide clear feedback.
• Supervise and mentor staff in field and coaching roles.

Education and Experience Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or a related field


• Candidates must have six years or more of current/recent experience as an audit and assurance accountant at a certified public accounting


• Must be a licensed CPA


• Possess technical knowledge in GAAP, GAAS and OCBOA sufficient to supervise staff accountants, and evaluate their progress when appropriate


• Experience with managing and mentoring up and coming team members

Requirements of the Job:

• Manages multiple engagements at one time in their entirety; establish engagement objectives and scope of engagement, manage budgets and schedules


• Fully responsible for the client deliverable
